Red Heaven At The Happy Goat
If you like hard rock and metal, Red Heaven joins Nessie and Seconds at The Happy Goat this Sunday night at 7.
The Happy Goat is a very quirky but amazing place just off Little Italy near Preston. Nice and big with awesome ambience and a lot of quirky coolness.
And as for the music… Nessie and Seconds are two of Ottawa’s most admired and amazing hard rock/metal bands.
A great night to come enjoy some cool ambience and hot tunes.
This Means It’s Coming Soon
Brass Monkey: Tomorrow Night!
Red Heaven returns to the stage with the amazingly soulful Firebelly and the savagely funky Milk Jive. Doors open at 7PM at the Brass Monkey this Sunday, June 18, and here’s the map to get you there. Wanna know more? Check out our Facebook event listing. Here’s a tip: If you click “going” on the Facebook event page, you’ll be automatically entered to win free admission. We’re gonna let one random “going” music fan in free of charge along with their plus one. And it could easily be you.
Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door. This one’s gonna be a night to remember, folks.
Announcing: The Little Temple
Red Heaven is delighted to announce our second EP, The Little Temple: A collection of three original songs written for the occasion of the Baha’i Holy Festival of Ri?ván, 2017. Incorporating excerpts from sacred Baha’i text, The Little Temple features meditative, ambient music with a worldly flavor that will lull listeners both to reflect and maybe even inspire them to dance.
Malagasy singer Bruno Randimbiarinson joins Red Heaven on The Little Temple, as does violinist Marie-Claire Saindon, bassist Tom McMahon, and percussionist Aaron Ferrera. These songs will be available for free or “pay what you want” download, and we are opening the license to encourage those who enjoy it to copy and share it with their friends and/or incorporate it into their media presentations, group meetings, or private reflection.
Our other in-progress album, Echolocation, is still pressing forward in production without delay or interruption. The Little Temple is simply a little something extra as a gift from Red Heaven to you.
Keep an eye on Redheaven.ca for news on The Little Temple, Echolocation, and a bunch of other stuff, too.
Happy Ri?ván!
May Gigs in Ottawa: Mavericks & Brass Monkey

As a bonus, we’ll be introducing a new member of the band: Bass and basillet virtuoso, Tom McMahon… and we’re very excited for you to meet him. We’ll be joined on the roster by awesome Ottawa indie geniuses XiL and Milk Jive, making for a full night of amazing music. Trust me: You’ll love these guys. Get tickets in advance for $7 or $10 at the door. Check out the Facebook event if you want more details or to RSVP. And yeah… the goggles will make an appearance. Guaranteed. |
