After rooting around on my hard drive, I found the first recording of Now In Love that I did back in 1992 on a Tascam 424 portastudio. Back then I had a plucky attitude and a dream in my heart… just not a lot of skill in singing, playing, recording, arranging or producing. Fun fact: Aaron Ferrera, who played on the version of Now In Love that you’ll find on The Ever-Turning Wheel, also did the drums and percussion 30 years ago on the original version below:

So cool to hear the evolution of a song. I do like both versions.
For me, it’s hard to listen to the old one. But I tried to bring the good parts of the old one to the new one as best I could. 🙂
