Two Red Heaven shows coming up pretty darn soon. First: Mavericks on May 7…
Hope to see you there!
If you’ve ever wished for a Red Heaven show in which we play our heaviest rock and metal songs, March 5 is your lucky day: We’ll be hitting the stage at Live on Elgin at 8:30, Sunday March 5, and playing our heaviest originals – including a few from the upcoming release, Echolocation, which will debut that night. As a bonus, we’ll be introducing a new member of the band: Bass and basillet virtuoso, Tom McMahon… and we’re very excited for you to meet him.
We’ll be joined on the roster by awesome Ottawa indie geniuses XiL and Milk Jive, making for a full night of amazing music. Trust me: You’ll love these guys.
And yeah… the goggles will make an appearance. Guaranteed.
Join us at 4PM at Wakefield’s Black Sheep Inn for Red Heaven’s return to the legendary venue, as well as the inaugural show of new members Stacey Acker and Ric Denis. Tickets are $10. Seeya there.
We’re delighted to announce two new musicians will be joining Red Heaven, effective immediately: Ric Denis and Stacey Acker will be playing guitar and singing, respectively. Ric is a brilliant, seasoned guitarist with a sterling reputation and Stacey is a charming, talented vocalist and songwriter. Both will be on stage with Red Heaven at our upcoming gigs.
We had a great time at the awesome and legendary Black Sheep Inn this past Saturday. Louis Brunet caught some great photos, so if any of you want to see what you missed (or relive what you saw), be sure to check them out [Smugmug]
The Undivided Heart is almost ready for release: The five song EP based on writings from the Baha’i Faith is ending production and will be ready for download on April 29. For those who are in the Ottawa area, come join us at the Black Sheep Inn on April 30th for a release party (with special guest MJ Cyr).
We forgot to tell you about last night’s house concert in Ottawa, but we have another today at 2pm EST in Wakefield, Quebec. It’s a rare appearance of four band members: JW Corey Tamas (guitar), Anwar Khurshid (sitar), Pierre Tremblay (guitar), and Rob Riendeau (bass).
JW Corey Tamas of Red Heaven plays songs from Moth and Amplification in an intimate setting… his own home. Free to enter, lots of comfy chairs, and a cat to pet if you’re so inclined.
Here’s the Facebook event page. Hope to see you there.
The next house concert is coming up faster than I may be ready for! October 10! Check out the event page, join in, and please do come to listen.
This Saturday, September 12, JW Corey Tamas (singer and guitarist for Red Heaven) will be doing a house concert at his home in Almonte, Ontario… and he wants you to bring a friend: Admission is $5, but if you bring a friend with you then they get in for free.
